The Abelia Twist of Lime, 'Abelia X grandiflora GRETOL', is an outstanding abelia with bright variegated foliage that is yellow with green centers when young, and maturing to ivory and green. It produces a heavy bloom of light pink flowers for a long period of summer and fall. The Twist of Lime is a low maintenance plant and they work well in borders or in containers. This albelia is evergreen so the variegated leaves are showy all season long. This plant produces a heavy bloom of trumpet-shaped flowers which bloom from late spring to fall and they are fragrant.
