Aristocrat Flowering Pear
The Aristocrat Flowering Pear tree, Pyrus calleryana 'Aristocrat', is a beautiful tree that is attractive in all four seasons. It produces masses of white flowers in early spring, (before the leaves appear), followed by bright, glossy green, disease resistant foliage. Leaves turn a deep to reddish-purple in mid to late fall to provide spectacular fall color.  The clean winter outline is upright to pyramidal when young and becomes broadly oval at maturity. Aristocrat Flowering Pear trees have a more dominant trunk and open form that helps this deciduous, flowering species, to be less susceptible to wind damage. Home owners and landscapers place this tree in prominent locations because of the year around beauty it provides. It is tolerant to a wide range of soil pH’s.

American Hornbeam - DetailsAmerican Hornbeam - Sale Price: $34.95
‘Caroliniana’ is a healthier eastern-states cousin from the birch family, lacking the insect and disease problems that plague the species at large. Here is a pleasing small-to-medium tree with fresh green summer foliage and a show of yellow to either orange or fire-engine red come fall. When mature, the shape can range from rounded to a broader, elliptical form. Its biggest benefit is its surprising shade tolerance — it will thrive, even under the canopy of other trees — but will be happiest in partial shade. ‘Caroliniana’ likes wet feet (though it can tolerate a semi-dry spot) and is partial to a slightly acid-to-neutral soil pH. If you live near a wooded area, you can count on attracting a variety of desirable game birds (wild turkey, pheasant, ruffled grouse), which will seek out the seeds and buds. Perfect as a windbreak because of its supreme resistance to splitting, and just grand-looking when planted as a grove. Zones 4-8.

Walker Weeping Caragana - DetailsWalker Weeping Caragana - Sale Price: $142.75
Small Dramatic Weeping Shrub The Walker Weeping Caragana is a small, deciduous shrub with a unique “weeping” appearance. It would look great as a small accent plant in your flower bed or anywhere you have a small place for an unconventional tree. Your Walker Weeping Caragana is sure to draw a second look from the neighbors. With its dense feathery canopy and dramatic descent to the ground, your Caragana is a study in grace and elegance. The Caragana can grow to 6 feet in height with a 3 feet spread. It’s more tall than wide, so fits easily into almost any space in your garden. Spring brings bright yellow flowers, lending a subtle two-toned appearance to the vibrant green of the plant. However, you’ll be more focused on the compound leaves that lend an endearing feathery appearance to your shrub. In the fall, those leaves will turn a pretty yellow before drifting to the ground in anticipation of winter. Even as the weather turns cold your Caragana will draw the eye. The unusual shape and structure of the shrub make it a stand-out amid the standard winter shapes. Winter snows drift over the cascading branches and gather on the crown providing a lovely display in the cold landscape. Caragana branches descend quickly giving you fast results in your new tree, but then slow down considerably, saving you from needing to extensively prune. You won’t have to fuss with this shrub as it’s quite hardy and easy to grow. It even transplants easily, and is drought tolerant. A Walker Weeping Caragana will be a delightful addition to your garden. * Unusual growth pattern * Spring flowers * Hardy
