Sirius Water Lily - Sale Price: $29.95 Named for the brightest star in the sky, this outstanding lily lives up to its name by producing large purplish-red flowers in profusion. The leaves are flecked maroon before maturing to all green. ‘Sirius’ is truly a classic in the water lily world, hybridized by Latour-Marliac Nursery in 1913. The purple-red flowers are 6-7 inches wide, the large leaves are 10-11 inches wide, and the overall plant spread is 5-6 feet wide. This water lily grows best in full to partial sun. Ligularia - Brit Marie - Sale Price: $42.75 The Ligularia Brit Marie Crawford, Ligularia dentate ‘Brit Marie’, is a wonderful yellow-orange, daisy-like flower with huge glossy maroon foliage that remains dark for most of the season.  (This plant was first discovered by Britt-Marie Crawford in Fife, Scotland.) ‘Brit Marie’ is a clump-forming herbaceous perennial that is grown not only for its showy purple-black leaves, but also for its summer display of bold daisy-like orange-yellow flowers! The foliage can be rounding, kidney-shaped, or triangular with a wavy margin.  The flowers appear on tall spikes and bloom from July to August.   ‘Brit Marie’ has a plant height of 3-4’ and a spread of 36-48”. Hosta - Wide Brim - Sale Price: $99.95 The Hosta ‘Wide Brim’ has a deep blue-green center with very wide, irregular margins of cream with gold tints at maturity, making it very striking. The lavender flowers bloom from July to August, however, hostas are not known only for their flowers.  With this plant having a height of 20” and a spread of 32-36”, ‘Wide Brim’ hosta provides bright color in shade with its wonderful foliage. Plant this low care plant in an area that receives the right amount of light.  The leaves need some morning sun to bring out the best coloration; too much sun will burn the leaves.  ‘Wide Brim’ is most at home in shady, woodland settings and often works well as specimen or edging plant. Clematis - Sweet Autumn - Sale Price: $56.45 Clematis - Sweet Autumn, Clematis maximowicziana, is a deciduous vine with a rampant growth habit and reaches 10' to 20' high. Its fragrant white flowers grow up to 0.5 inches across and continues to bloom late summer through fall.  The white, citrus-scented flowers fade into feathery seed heads, and last until winter. Sweet Autumn prefers loamy, somewhat moist, well-drained soil. Provide a location where its head is in the sun and toes in the shade. Mulch around bottom to keep ground temperatures cool and moist.  Give direct sun to encourage their large, showy blooms, but it will tolerate some shade.
