Blue Ray Blueberries The Blueberry Blue Ray, 'Vaccinium corymbosum', a spring planted herbacious root, is an old favorite that is a heavy producer of high quality, large, powder blue berries. They have an outstanding dessert flavor. The open and upright bush will exhibit lovely burgundy leaves in the fall. They can be grown in half-barrels on patios, as long as you have two for pollination. Blueberries are acid soil lovers.
