The Bonide Japanese Beetle Bagger Trap will protect over 5,000 sq. ft. all season long. The disposable collection bags are hourglass shaped and will trap the beetles and keep them trapped! This dual lure contains a food-floral attractant and a sex lure attractant in a sealed tray with a removable top. Bonide Japanese Beetle Traps are quick and easy to snap together. They can be hung anywhere with wire, twine or twist tie. The best position to place them is 3 to 5 feet above the ground and 10 feet downwind of the foliage to intercept beetles heading towards it. If you place the trap in or near the foliage, this will attract more beetles into the foliage. Since the bag has perforations, it will prevent rain water collection. Each kit contains 1 lure holder, 1 dual release floral and pheromone lure, and 2 collection bags. Remember to keep this out of the reach of children.
