Forsythia - Citrus Swizzle - Sale Price: $51.35 The Forsythia 'Citrus Swizzle' is an excellent variegated form of dwarf Forsythia selected by Dan Moore of McKay Nursery Company. The foliage emerges chartreuse, with lime green variegation in the center of the leaf, which then ages to a creamy white and finally white. A nice brightly colored, dwarf selection suitable for today's landscapes. Citrus Swizzle is an excellent, slow growing plant for edging or the front of the shrub or perennial border. Great used in mass plantings. Citrus Swizzle prefers a sunny location for the best leaf color, in most any soil. Little pruning is required except to remove any slightly more vigorous upright shoots, on occasion. You can remove the oldest stems to renew older plants when desired. A quince is delicious stewed, baked, made into fruit butter and should not be eaten raw-- almost anything that can be done with apples can be done with quinces!
