Barberry - Crimson Pygmy - Sale Price: $39.95 Like ‘Concorde,’ Crimson Pygmy is naturally small in stature, just about two feet tall and perhaps three feet wide. It has all of the characteristics you love in a landscape shrub: resistance to disease, deer and insects, and perhaps best of all, considering it’s a prickly plant, no pruning, unless you want to treat it as a topiary or downsize it. Excellent in the landscape border, in Japanese-themed gardens or as a frame for water features.
