Euonymus - Vegetus, Euonymus radicans 'Vegetus', is slow-growing with a creeping form that can be used as an upright shrub, ground cover, bush, or a vine that can actually grow to be a large shrub or trained to climb structures; very versatile and adaptable! Euonymus Vegetus is a broad and bushy Asiatic twining shrub with pinkish fruit; has small, elliptical evergreen leaves that are thick in texture and matte green in color. Greenish-white flowers appear in summer, and there is a profusion of orange-red berries in the fall and winter that attract birds. ‘Vegetus’ is very cold-hardy as well as tolerant of hot climates; can be pruned to shape at any time. It prefers most soils and tolerates city and coastal conditions; water moderately until established.
