False Indigo - Purple Smoke
False Indigo Purple Smoke, Baptisia x hybrida 'Purple Smoke', is a seedling of Baptisia australis and Baptisia alba which resulted in a spectacular plant with charcoal-green stems and dozens of giant lupine-like flower heads of dusty purple. 'Purple Smoke' is a vigorous grower that becomes more impressive every year as it matures! It is a good, vigorous grower, extremely long lived, and destined to become a favorite in the garden.  The Baptisia looks attractive by itself, against walls and fences, or combined in a border with other June bloomers.   Full sun is best for the most successful flowering and performance.  It grows well in average to dry soil but adapts to most conditions.  It is deer resistant. ‘Purple Smoke’ has a very deep tap root, giving it the ability to survive long dry periods and making it a challenge to move once it is established.  Move in the early spring if you must. This plant takes a couple of years to really get going but once it does it really puts on a colorful show! * Vigorous grower * Drought tolerant * Impressive color

Hosta - Satisfaction - DetailsHosta - Satisfaction - Sale Price: $42.75
The Hosta Satisfaction, Hosta 'Satisfaction', is an incredibly spectacular and dramatic gold-edged sport of Hosta Piedmont Gold.  'Satisfaction' is bordered by wide leaf margins that are light green at first, and then turn bright gold in early summer. The gold margins get to be about 2 wide at maturity; near white flowers top the clump in mid-summer.  ‘Satisfaction' is a low mounded and stunning hosta.  It will have an impact on any area of your shade garden, and the margins turn cream if placed in a sunny location! Hostas grow best in moist, well-drained, highly organic soils with a pH between 5.5 and 7.5.  Sandy loam is better than clay because it provides more aeration for the roots.  It is best to keep areas around hostas clear of excess leaf debris to reduce the presence of slugs and snails.  Plant this low care plant in an area that receives the right amount of light.  The leaves need some morning sun to bring out the best coloration; too much sun will burn the leaves.  ‘Satisfaction' is most at home in shady, woodland settings and often works well as specimen or edging plant. Because of its brilliant colors, 'Satisfaction' is one of the most show stopping hostas in any garden! * Stunning plant * Easy to grow * Low mounding habit
