GROWMEND™ contains selectively blended soil-based beneficial microbes that help break down organic matter to promote healthy soil and enhance roots and nutrient uptake in all kinds of plants. It builds essential humus for healthier, more productive soil. The organic and all-natural probiotics in GROWMEND™ promote increased foliage and blooming. GROWMEND™ boosts plant vigor and increases blooming in flowering perennials including lantana, aster, geraniums, columbine, phlox, sage, daylilies, delphinium, peonies, poppies and more. GROWMEND™ can help you grow bigger, tastier, more colorful root, stem and vine vegetables including peppers, squash, tomatoes, corn, cucumbers, potatoes, onions, shallots and carrots. It also enhances the health and growth of lawns, helps strengthen natural turf grass defenses against disease, and aids in reducing thatch buildup. GROWMEND™ can be used on warm-season grasses (Bermuda, Saint Augustine, centipede, zoysia, etc.) and cool-season grasses (bentgrass, bluegrass, ryegrass, fescue, etc.). GROWMEND™ can also be used on roses and grape vines. By increasing the productive energy of your soil, GROWMEND™ helps reduce or even eliminate the need for chemical fertilizers.Simply mix 5 capfuls (5 tbsp or 2.5 fl oz) per gallon of water. Then spray foliage and soil until the soil is visibly wet. A 1 liter bottle makes 13.5 gallons of solution—enough to cover 5,400 square feet (0.12 acres). Manufactured by Surya™.

 Mosquito Dunks - 20 Pack - Sale Price: $29.95
Mosquito Dunks are America’s favorite biological mosquito control. Unlike chemical sprays, Mosquito Dunks kill mosquitoes before they can become flying, biting, disease-spreading adults. The active ingredient in Mosquito Dunks is called B.t.i (Bacillus thuringiensis subspecies israelensis), a bacterium that’s deadly to mosquito larvae but harmless to other living things. Just float biodegradable Mosquito Dunks in ponds, birdbaths, fountains, water gardens or wherever water collects and remains for periods of time. When female mosquitoes lay their eggs in standing water treated with a Mosquito Dunk, the mosquito larvae will hatch, begin to eat the B.t.i. contained in the Mosquito Dunk, and die. Each Mosquito Dunk will treat up to 100 square feet of surface water for about 30 days. Mosquito Dunks are now approved for organic production by the USDA National Organic Program, and they are also approved for use in fish habitats and animal watering troughs. That means everyone from homeowners to commercial farmers who are looking for an effective, organic way to control mosquitoes can now use Mosquito Dunks. Made in the USA by Summit, makers of responsible solutions for yards and gardens. |
