Clematis - Cardinal Wyszynski - Sale Price: $42.75 Clematis Cardinal Wyszynski, Clematis 'Cardinal Wyszynski', will dazzle your garden with huge 8 glowing crimson flowers! The vibrant flowers are accented with darker crimson anthers and light pink filaments.  Very free flowering,  the clematis 'Cardinal Wyszynski' received the Golden Medal at 'Plantarium' in 1990. (Named after Cardinal Wyszynski who never got to become pope; cardinals are known for their bright red garb.) Clematis Cardinal Wyszynski needs a supporting structure to grow properly but will also grow over large shrubs, over walls, cover stumps, and make perfect cover ups for unsightly service areas. Clematis is easy to grow in a rich, porous, alkaline soil with plenty of room for the roots to spread. Best performance is when the tops are in full sunlight and the roots are shaded, so apply generous mulch or a shallow-rooted ground cover near the base of the vine. Groom this plant after first flowering by cutting back the top one-third to one-half of some stems. Coreopsis 'Sienna Sunset' PPAF was discovered by Sunny Border Nurseries and has large flowers that delight with a long bloom life.  This new color of burnt sienna that ages to salmon-orange is a magnet for butterflies and gardeners alike. 'Sienna Sunset' Coreopsis is easy to place, requiring only a sunny spot with average garden soil.  It is a very heavy bloomer and cuts well. Give this plant a hard shearing to promote re-bloom. Coreopsis - Moonbeam - Sale Price: $49.95 The Coreopsis ‘Moonbeam’, Coreopsis verticillata, is the most popular perennial in its family. ‘Moonbeam’ was named Perennial of the Year in 1995 and one can see why. With its clusters of light yellow, daisy-like blooms and its green airy fernlike foliage, ‘Moonbeam’ Coreopsis blooms from June through October and is mildew resistant. ‘Moonbeam’ stands at 24” and has a plant spread of 18-24”. ‘Moonbeam’ should be planted in full sun. It is drought-tolerant and tough but does need well-drained soil. It should be cut backing early and late summer to extend the bloom period. Coreopsis ‘Moonbeam’ looks great with Coreopsis ‘Sweet Dreams’, and with any type of grass, in borders or mass plantings in sunny gardens. No garden should be without it.

Trumpet Creeper - Sale Price: $49.95 The Trumpet Creeper, Campsis radicans 'flamenco', is a rapid growing, clinging vine that produces bright red orange trumpet shaped flowers that can get 3 inches long. Blooming in the summer months, it attracts hummingbirds and butterflies. Also known as the Trumpet Vine, it is a tough vine for hot and dry sites. The invasive nature of this plant makes it hard to get rid of, but it is very hardy.
