This variety, hybridized by Ken Landon in 1985, is considered to be one of the finest hybrids ever created! The yellow flowers are 5-8 inches wide, the leaves are 7-8 inches wide, and the overall plant spread is 3-5 feet wide. Texas Dawn grows best in full to partial sun. Clematis - Blue Angel - Sale Price: $42.75 Clematis Blue Angel, Clematis 'Blue Angel™', is a heavenly beauty, a prolific bloomer, and an exquisite climber. One of our favorites! The ruffled petals are sky blue along the edges and get lighter towards the center. The bright yellow stamens contrast nicely with the silky blue 6 flowers. Blue Angel received the Word of Recommendation by the judging committees of the Royal Boskoop Horticultural Society in Holland and the gold medal at 'Planetarium' in Boskoop in 1992. Clematis 'Blue Angel™' needs a supporting structure to grow properly but will also grow over large shrubs, over walls, cover stumps, and make perfect cover ups for unsightly service areas. Clematis is easy to grow in a rich, alkaline soil with plenty of room for the roots to spread. Best performance is when the tops are in full sunlight and the roots are shaded, so apply a generous mulch or a shallow-rooted ground cover near the base of the vine. Hibiscus - Jazzberry Jam - Sale Price: $77.95 Hibiscus Jazzberry Jam, Hibiscus 'Jazzberry Jam' PPAF, is a hardy hibiscus that has impressive 9 billowy, ruffled, overlapping petals in a deep magenta color with a red eye center.  Bring a touch of the tropics home with this new color in the Luna series of hardy hibiscus! Hibiscus 'Jazzberry Jam' PPAF will bloom from mid-summer into early fall and is a great garden specimen.  It is useful as a hedge or border because it has a very full, robust, upright habit. 'Jazzberry Jam' delivers everything you ever wanted in a hardy hibiscus! It grows well in any fertile, well-drained soil with ample moisture. Do not allow to dry to the wilting point.  Be patient; hibiscus can be slow to emerge in spring; provide regular fertilization during this growing season.  For best performance, plant in full sun in moist soil, before the heat of the summer.
