Hosta - Climax - Sale Price: $42.75 The Hosta Climax, Hosta 'Climax', is a large sport of Hosta 'High Noon' with round leaves that are moderately corrugated.  The color of the leaves is a striking medium green and is trimmed with golden yellow margins. Climax presents a more upright habit and a beautiful vase shape with light lavender flowers.  Holding its color until late fall, its tall flower scapes, and broad, variegated leaves fill a niche in garden design that few other plants can achieve! ‘Climax’ is a low care perennial that is ideal for shady areas. Periwinkle is also known as myrtle. The deep lilac flowers are numerous, larger than the species, and appear in both spring and fall. Rose - Red Meidiland® - Shrub - Sale Price: $71.35 Red Meidiland® Rose, Rosa 'MEIneble' (PP7,116), is covered by small, dense leaves of glossy dark green. It produces clusters of single red roses (to 3” diameter) with white centers and yellow stamens in a continuous bloom from May to frost. The flowers have no fragrance. The blooms are borne in sprays of seven to fifteen. The end of the season brings a special attraction as orange-red fruit persists along bronze winter stems. This rose has its own root. The advantage of own root roses is that once established they are very resilient. If winter's freezing breezes kill the top growth, the rose will grow back in the spring, and the recovered rose will look the same as the one you purchased. Red Meidiland is a low-growing shrub rose with a creeping habit that is often grown as a ground cover. It typically grows with arching or cascading stems to 1.5 to 2 feet tall and spreads to 4 to 5 feet wide. Meidiland roses are landscape and ground cover roses that come from Meidiland of France. Coreopsis - Route 66 - Sale Price: $39.95 The Coreopsis 'Route 66', Coreopsis verticillata 'Route 66', was discovered in 2005 by Patti Bauer. This new threadleaf coreopsis bears big, bold yellow flowers with a rich ring of burgundy around the crown that bleeds out to the tips of each petal. The narrow, deep-green foliage forms vigorous, uniform clumps. It is easily grown in dry to medium moisture, well-drained soils in full sun. 'Route 66' performs well in poor, sandy or rocky soils with good drainage; tolerant of heat, humidity and drought. It is effective in borders, naturalized areas, wild gardens, or cottage gardens.  Cut back in late summer to encourage regrowth and rebloom. It over winterizes well and is reliable in harsh climates.  It comes back vigorously each year.  Coreopsis is one of the easiest perennials to maintain and is a good choice for beginners. Hibiscus - Party Favor - Sale Price: $71.25 Hibiscus Party Favor (Rose Mellow), Hibiscus moscheutos 'Party Favor', forms a large clumping habit that makes this plant a “stand alone” in the landscape because of its extended bloom time! From midsummer until frost, the large, long lasting blooms will create a striking display.  ‘Party Favor’ has large rose-pink buds that open to glossy, medium pink flowers that have overlapping petals with red eye centers.  This hibiscus is a super long-blooming plant that produces large dinner plate-sized 8-10 inch wide pink blossoms! 'Party Favor' has highly dissected, green leaves on nicely branched red stems.  Moist soils are best, but this hardy hibiscus is very drought tolerant as well.  Perennial Hibiscus should be cut back to 4-6 from the ground in the spring. It grows well in any fertile, well-drained soil with ample moisture.  Do not allow to dry to the wilting point.  Be careful to not over-water until plants show signs of growth.  Be patient; hibiscus can be slow to emerge in spring.  For best performance, plant in full sun in moist soil, before the heat of the summer. This hibiscus is suitable for very large containers, but pots must be protected over winter.  'Party Favor' plants will die back to ground level during the winter months.
