Tiarella - Sugar and Spice Foam Flower - Sale Price: $56.95 Tiarella Sugar and Spice, Tiarella 'Sugar and Spice' (PP#16,738), is the result of extensive breeding efforts at Terra Nova Nurseries, and perhaps the best Tiarella ever! The dramatic, lacy leaves are adorned with heavily marked dark centers and have a shiny appearance that almost appears to be lacquered. In spring, a profusion of lightly fragrant bottlebrush flowers are displayed for a very long time. The flowers of Tiarella 'Sugar & Spice' are white with a unique pink frosting. 'Sugar and Spice' will do best in full shade and needs average to moist soil. Try planting this popular perennial with Lamium ‘White Nancy’, Hosta ‘Patriot’ or ‘Japanese Painted Fern’ for contrasting color. To create a more neat appearing plant, remove the old foliage before new leaves emerge. The plant clumps can be divided every 2 or 3 years in the spring. Hosta - Climax - Sale Price: $42.75 The Hosta Climax, Hosta 'Climax', is a large sport of Hosta 'High Noon' with round leaves that are moderately corrugated.  The color of the leaves is a striking medium green and is trimmed with golden yellow margins. Climax presents a more upright habit and a beautiful vase shape with light lavender flowers.  Holding its color until late fall, its tall flower scapes, and broad, variegated leaves fill a niche in garden design that few other plants can achieve! ‘Climax’ is a low care perennial that is ideal for shady areas. This hosta grows best in moist, well-drained, highly organic soils with a pH between 5.5 and 7.5.  Sandy loam is better than clay because it provides more aeration for the roots. Hibiscus - Summer Storm - Sale Price: $84.95 Hibiscus Summer Storm (Rose Mellow), Hibiscus moscheutos 'Summer Storm', is continuously smothered with spectacular 10 wide, medium pink to rose-colored flowers, along with deeply-lobed luscious dark purple leaves.  Each flower has dark pink veining and a magenta eye that radiates through the petals! ‘Summer Storm’ puts on a fabulous show from midsummer to fall.  Moist soils are ideal, but this hibiscus is quite drought-tolerant.  All summer long you'll enjoy hundreds of these exotic flowers, along with the many butterflies, bees and hummingbirds that this plant attracts. This hardy hibiscus will die back to the ground every winter and emerge from the ground in the middle to late spring season; cut back to 4-6 from the ground in the spring.  It is root hardy and needs no protection.  Remove old canes to the ground in mid winter.
