Lilac - President Grevy
President Grevy Lilac, Syringa vulgaris 'President Grevy', is an upright, vigorously growing French Hybrid Lilac with double, lilac-blue, fragrant flowers that are produced on large panicles in May. It is a leggy, suckering, deciduous shrub, somewhat irregular in shape. This is a strong, long lived shrub that will give a lifetime of flowering satisfaction. President Grevy Lilac prefers full sun, good drainage and air circulation. If one removes flowers as they fade, as well as older wood and suckers, it will improve the plants appearance and flower production. President Grevy Lilac can be used in many situations, including shrub borders, informal hedges and perennial borders. It is a good bloomer, deciduous and a fast grower, reaching 10-12 feet tall and spreading to 8 feet wide. Being very showy and extremely fragrant, it makes a wonderful screen or border specimen. * Fragrant! * Fast Growing!

Barberry - Crimson Pygmy - DetailsBarberry - Crimson Pygmy - Sale Price: $39.95
Like ‘Concorde,’ Crimson Pygmy is naturally small in stature, just about two feet tall and perhaps three feet wide. It has all of the characteristics you love in a landscape shrub: resistance to disease, deer and insects, and perhaps best of all, considering it’s a prickly plant, no pruning, unless you want to treat it as a topiary or downsize it. Excellent in the landscape border, in Japanese-themed gardens or as a frame for water features. Plant Crimson Pygmy against golds, yellows and deep greens for stark contrast, or as a companion to anything in the pink/rose spectrum for sheer beauty. Full sun, regular watering and soil that’s a bit on the acid side will serve this shrub well. After its root system is large and well established, it will only need watering during periods of drought. Zones 4-8.

Hollies cheer every winter landscape with their dark green leaves and bright red berries.
