Now you can raise mason bees and watch them work! The Mason Bee Home Kit with Bee Observer can be easily mounted on the side of your house or fence. The bee observer allows you to see your mason bees in action. A unique design keeps the holes dark for the mason bees, yet allows you to watch by sliding back the cover. The bees nest in wood slots with protective plastic viewing on one side. Mason bees are native to most areas of North America and are attracted to holes to begin their nesting. Eighteen (18) Easy-Tear straws are included in the kit to help you easily raise your mason bees. A portion of your straws should be opened in the fall to help you see the health of your mason bees. Mounting screws, instructions, and tips on where best to place your starter home are included. Mason bees sold separately.
