Barberry - Korean - Sale Price: $49.95 The Korean Barberry, Berberis koreana, is a dense, thorny plant useful for barrier planting. It displays small yellow flowers in hanging clusters in mid-spring and bright red berries in clusters in autumn. These berries may persist into winter. Korean Barberry has a wonderful, red, fall foliage color that will give you a colorful landscape! It requires full sun to partial shade and tolerates a wide range of soils, except those that are overly wet. Light pruning may be needed to maintain good shape. Use in borders, as a barrier, a hedge, or as a specimen.

Viburnum - Sargent Cranberrybush - Sale Price: $68.50 The Sargent Cranberrybush Viburnum, Viburnum sargentii, is very similar to American Cranberrybush, but will not grow as large. This shrub has beautiful white blooms with a low-to-the-ground branching habit. It will form a large upright, rounded, multi-stemmed shrub. It has a fantastic red fruit display with bright, translucent red drupes lasting well into January.  In the fall, it provides an excellent red-purple color. 'Sargent Cranberrybush' Viburnum is very much like the 'Snowball' Viburnum, except that the leaves are thicker in texture, and it bears fruit. When used as a specimen or patio tree, leave plenty of room for root expansion.  It grows best in full sun or partial shade, in moist, well-drained soil.  Sargent is very vigorous and resistant to aphids.  Will fruit best in sun but will also grow and flower in partial shade. Viburnums add seasonal interest with flowers, colorful fruits, fall color, stem and bark color, texture, and form.  There is always space for a viburnum in any landscape, and this one will look terrific in yours as well!

Your nose will pick up the fragrant flowers from around the corner of your home! The Persian lilac blooms in late spring. The flowers are pale pink and are produced on 2 to 3 inch long panicles. The Persian lilac is a reasonably compact lilac and it will fit into a smaller garden, and shrub border. This lilac is a fast grower. This plant flowers on old wood, so if you need to prune, wait until is finished flowering. This plant is attractive to butterflies. It is not attractive to deer! Deer seem to avoid this plant when it is found in the landscape! For a carefree, free flowering shrub, you can’t do better than the Persian Lilac!
