Mock Orange - Snowgoose
Mock Orange - Snowgoose The Snowgoose Mock Orange, Philadelphus x 'Snowgoose', is a smaller, upright growing selection from Canada. Snowgoose Mock Orange is a fountain-like, deciduous shrub with fragrant, white, late spring or early summer flowers that cover the plant by June. The foliage is dark green. An old fashioned favorite, 'Snowgoose' is at home in the shrub border. Give it ample room for its arching branches. Remove oldest branches (back to ground) right after plant has finished flowering. Cut out the old wood and any suckering found at the base. It is a reliable and absolutely maintenance-free shrub. The Mock Orange has a very memorable scent. Just like the famous lilac, once you smell it, you will not forget it! It is soil adaptable, hardy, and does best in full sun. Fragrant, Fragrant, Fragrant!
