Morden Blush Rose
Morden Blush Rose The Morden Blush Rose, Rosa 'Morden Blush' (PP8,054), produces pointed buds of ivory and blush that open to sweetly fragrant ivory blooms with pink at the center. The low growing shrub has glossy foliage to frame the lovely blooms. The Morden Blush will bloom continuously from summer through fall. It will die back to the crown in Zones 3 and 4, but flowers on new growth. This rose is known to be very hardy and disease resistant. This rose is grown on its own root. The advantage of own root roses is that once established they are very resilient. If winter's freezing breezes kill the top growth, the rose will grow back in the spring, and the recovered rose will look the same as the one you purchased. Roses need to be planted in full sun. Anything less than 6 hours of full sun will hinder blossom development. For best results, the soil must be well-drained and fertile, with adequate moisture to produce the most blossoms. Use this rose for beds and borders, in containers, or anywhere they fit in the landscape.
