Holly - Sky Pencil - Sale Price: $106.95 The Holly Sky Pencil, Ilex crenata 'Sky Pencil', is a densely branched and foliaged evergreen accent plant. This holly has an outline that looks like a green column. Its lustrous dark green leaves are beautiful throughout the seasons. Mature size is 6 to 10 feet high and 1 1/2 to 2 feet wide. The Sky Pencil is excellent in a container or for vertical element in the garden. This plant prefers light, moist but well-drained, slightly acid soils in either sun or partial shade. This plant makes an excellent foundation plant or it can be used as a low hedge. A low maintenance xeriscape plant, Miniglobe has outstanding dense foliage on a compact hardy shrub. Miniglobe is excellent for formal hedging and drought tolerant, this honeysuckle has improved hardiness, compact growth and superior foliage. It grows 3-4 feet in height and width.
