Coral Bells - Plum Pudding - DetailsCoral Bells - Plum Pudding - Sale Price: $49.95
Heuchera Plum Pudding (Coral Bell), Heuchera 'Plum Pudding', boasts a shimmering plum purple hue on maple-like leaves with dark purple veining.  ‘Plum Pudding’ remains vibrant and colorful! This coral bell shows off its small white flowers, which bloom in early summer; not as impressive as the foliage, but  flowers stand tall on dark stems in summer.  Its foliage changes to a silver with a purple tint in winter.  During mild winters the foliage will persist if you provide adequate moisture to the soil. Cold and drought tolerant and withstanding heat and humidity, nothing seems to phase this plant.  But to keep ‘Plum Pudding’ looking its best, be sure to water in hot, dry weather, giving the plant about one inch of water per week. Attracting butterflies and hummingbirds, this little gem will surely become a “must have” plant for your borders, as a ground cover, in containers or mass plantings. Coral Bells is susceptible to rot, so good drainage is essential while roots establish themselves. ‘Plum Pudding’ needs about one inch of water per week; divide clumps in fall.  Foliage should not be trimmed back in the fall, but this coral bell may be tidied up in spring by removing any withered or tired-looking leaves. Heuchera adds a bit of flavor to any perennial garden with its texture, vigor, and vibrant color.  This Heuchera adds brilliant and exceptional color to the darkest spot in your garden!   * Heat and humidity tolerant * Impressive foliage * Small compact

Virginia Creeper - DetailsVirginia Creeper - Sale Price: $55.35
The Virginia Creeper, Parthenocissus quinquefolia 'engalmani', is a fast-growing, high-climbing vine that attaches itself with tendrils which expand, disk-like, on their tips. The deciduous leaves that radiate outward from a leaf stem, like spokes on a wheel.   Each leaflet is about 3-7 long and an inch or two wide.  The leaves turn fiery red in fall and are very showy. The individual flowers are tiny and inconspicuous, and arranged in elaborate long-stemmed clusters, with each flower at the tip of its own flower stem. The berries are blue-black, less than a half-inch across and much relished by birds.  Easy to grow, the Virginia Creeper can get out of hand if not managed. Also known as Woodbine, it will send up sprouts and seed itself, and established plantings may smother shrubs and trees.  Virginia creeper will thrive in most soils, in sun or partial shade, with or without a structure to climb on. Virginia creeper is favored for its brilliant fall foliage and as a maintenance-free ground cover.  When allowed to clamber over trees or other tall structures, it develops elongated leafy festoons that are especially showy.  Where there is nothing to climb, it attaches to the ground with adventitious roots, and makes an excellent cover for slopes or other places where grass is not practical or desired. * Fast growing * High climbing * Brilliant fall color
