After a few days of being dry, the dust and roots will easily brush off. Smart Pot folds easily for storage. You may wash the Smart Pot in a bleach to sterilize (many people prefer OxyClean), if desired. You may use a washing machine, or simply dip the Smart Pot in a tub.
