Summit Year-Round Spray Oil is an environmentally responsible insecticide that kills a wide variety of insect pests including aphids, whiteflies, spider mites, mealybugs, scale, thrips, fungus gnats, Asian cycad scale, leaf beetle larvae and others. Summit Year-Round Spray Oil contains no harsh chemicals, has no unpleasant odor and is approved for organic production. Summit Year-Round Spray Oil literally smothers insects to death by blocking an insect’s breathing holes. Unlike other pesticides which can become less effective after repeated use, there is no known build-of insect resistance to horticultural oil sprays. Summit Year-Round Spray Oil is a lightweight horticultural oil that can be used any time during the year because it won’t harm plant buds, shoots and leaves. It can be used on trees, shrubs, flowers, vegetable plants and indoors in greenhouses. Because of its low toxicity, Summit Year-Round Spray Oil can be used on garden crops and fruit trees right up to the day of harvest.
