Tulip - Toronto
The Tulip 'Toronto', 'Tulipa Greigii', a fall planted bulb, produces bunch flowering rosy-pink flowers. The unique mottled foliage adds to its attractiveness. Greigii tulips are great for beds, borders, rock gardens, and cut flowers. They bloom in mid spring and produce one six-petalled flower on a short, rigid stem. The petals are usually pointed. They have an added attraction in that the leaves are usually patterned with stripes or spots, in purple or brown. Finally, they naturalize very well. If you leave them alone, they come back year after year, and even multiply.

Peony - Sarah Bernhardt - Bulbs - DetailsPeony - Sarah Bernhardt - Bulbs - Sale Price: $42.75
The Peony 'Sarah Bernhardt', 'Paeonia', a fall planted bulb, is one of the most popular Double Peonies. This gorgeous variety produces large, soft pink flowers, of perfect form with a delightful fragrance. They produce superb, long lasting cut flowers. During late spring-early summer, they fill the garden with fragrance. They will bloom 3 to 4 weeks in late spring. The Peony tolerates some drought but thrives in moist, fertile, well-draining soil. If your soil is extremely acid, add some lime at planting time. Plant the roots with the eyes (buds) pointing up and place them 1 below the soil level. Peonies usually take a few years to establish and bloom heavily. Staking is recommended. Peonies attract butterflies and are great cut flowers and borders. They are also deer, rabbit, and squirrel resistant. For a tidy appearance, remove spent flowers after blooming. After a heavy frost, cut the foliage to the ground and remove from the area. Peonies do not need to be divided and can be left in place for years! If you desire a peony, this is a must have!
