This plant grows to 2 feet tall and wide. Deadheading is recommended to prolong blooming. The wonderful plants perform best when planted in partially shaded areas.  Blue Barlow blooms in late spring to early summer and it can be used as a cut flower. Liriope - Variegated - Sale Price: $56.95 The Liriope 'Variegated', Liriope muscari 'Variegata', is by far one of the most popular liriope.  It is also known as Liriope variegated lily-turf, so is, as its name implies, a variegated border grass! Hosta - Tropical Dancer - Sale Price: $42.75 The Hosta Tropical Dancer, Hosta 'Tropical Dancer', puts on a colorful show with its heart-shaped wavy green leaves. These elongated leaves are trimmed with creamy white margins that are tightly ruffled and serrated; margins brighten to white later in the season. Forming a broad showy clump in the garden, ‘Tropical Dancer’ is a strong grower and produces lavender flowers on upright scapes in the summer. Plant this low care plant in an area that receives the right amount of light.  The leaves need some morning sun to bring out the best coloration; too much sun will burn the leaves.  ‘Tropical Dancer’ is most at home in shady, woodland settings and often works well as specimen or edging plant. Mondo Grass - Sale Price: $56.95 The Grass 'Mondo', Ophiopogon japonicus, is an evergreen perennial which forms a dense clump of grass-like leaves; similar in appearance to Liriope, but finer textured with thinner blades. ('Mondo' actually is a member of the lily family despite its appearance and common name.) The leaves emerge in clumps from a network of rhizomes that grow just below the soil surface.  With age, the clumps will merge to form a soft dense carpet of foliage.  The small light purple flowers appear in summer, but are of little interest since they are hidden in the dense foliage, and so are the small blue-black berries that follow. It can be used as a bed edge or as a groundcover in a shady area.  It is important for erosion control since the dense mat of roots holds the ground well; avoid planting it near moist areas because it will take over!
