Cotoneaster - Royal Beauty - Sale Price: $99.95 The Cotoneaster 'Royal Beauty (Coral Beauty)', Cotoneaster dammeri 'Coral Beauty', is a low-growing, evergreen shrub with glossy dark green foliage, and showy dark red berries that provide color in the fall and winter. 'Royal Beauty' is an excellent ground cover, and the long prostrate branches form a 3-6 foot spread with a 24-30 inch height. Thriving in full sun, this cotoneaster has a wide tolerance of soil types and moisture levels. The small white flowers that appear in late May are showy when the shrub is planted en masse. The foliage covering is dense, and this landscape plant typically grows 4' to 6' tall, but can grow to 10' with a width about two-thirds the height. P.J.M.'s evergreen leaves turn a wonderful deep mahogany-purple in winter and with more sun exposure, its winter foliage color intensifies. It is one of the most reliable rhododendrons for northern climates. Rhododendrons are ornamental, acidic-soil loving broad-leaf evergreens. They grow best in partial shade.
