Clematis - My Angel
Clematis - My Angel Clematis 'My Angel', Clematis 'My Angel®' PPAF, presents a new color within the Clematis assortment! My Angel® is a hardy woody climber with purple stems and a multitude of 1 1/2 inch flowers, nodding, inside yellow outside red-purple, with creamy colored edged tepals. The seed heads are white and numerous. This unique small-flowered clematis flowers July through October. 'My Angel®' needs a supporting structure to grow properly but will also grow over large shrubs, over walls, cover stumps, and make perfect cover ups for unsightly service areas. Clematis is easy to grow in a rich, porous, alkaline soil with plenty of room for the roots to spread. Best performance is when the tops are in full sunlight and the roots are shaded, so apply generous mulch or a shallow-rooted ground cover near the base of the vine. Groom this plant after first flowering by cutting back the top one-third to one-half of some stems. 'My Angel' has a truly unique look, so if you are searching for an unusual plant for your yard, this one may be for you! * Unique flowers * Easy to grow * Hardy
