Clematis - My Angel
Clematis 'My Angel', Clematis 'My Angel®' PPAF, presents a new color within the Clematis assortment! My Angel® is a hardy woody climber with purple stems and a multitude of 1 1/2 inch flowers, nodding, inside yellow outside red-purple, with creamy colored edged tepals. The seed heads are white and numerous. This unique small-flowered clematis flowers July through October. 'My Angel®' needs a supporting structure to grow properly but will also grow over large shrubs, over walls, cover stumps, and make perfect cover ups for unsightly service areas. Clematis is easy to grow in a rich, porous, alkaline soil with plenty of room for the roots to spread.  Best performance is when the tops are in full sunlight and the roots are shaded, so apply generous mulch or a shallow-rooted ground cover near the base of the vine. Groom this plant after first flowering by cutting back the top one-third to one-half of some stems. 'My Angel' has a truly unique look, so if you are searching for an unusual plant for your yard, this one may be for you! * Unique flowers * Easy to grow * Hardy

Hibiscus 'Jazzberry Jam' PPAF will bloom from mid-summer into early fall and is a great garden specimen.  It is useful as a hedge or border because it has a very full, robust, upright habit. 'Jazzberry Jam' delivers everything you ever wanted in a hardy hibiscus! It grows well in any fertile, well-drained soil with ample moisture. Do not allow to dry to the wilting point.  Be patient; hibiscus can be slow to emerge in spring; provide regular fertilization during this growing season.  For best performance, plant in full sun in moist soil, before the heat of the summer. 'Jazzberry Jam' is suitable for very large containers, but pots must be protected over winter.  Although the hibiscus grows tall, the need for staking is rare.  These plants will die back to ground level during the winter months.  Be careful to not over water until plants show signs of growth! Daylily - Sirocco - DetailsDaylily - Sirocco - Sale Price: $49.95
The Sirocco Daylily 'Salmon Pink', Hemerocallis 'Sirocco', is a favorite summer blooming perennial! Fertilize early in the plant’s growing cycle ; a rugged, adaptable, vigorous perennial that endures in a garden for many years with little or no care. The Sirocco adapts to a wide range of soil and light conditions; establishes quickly, grows vigorously, and survive s winters with little or no injury. It is useful in the perennial flower border, planted in large masses, or as a ground cover on slopes, where they form a dense mat in just a few years.; attracts butterflies. Divide Sirocco every 3-5 years, or when the number of flower buds and the size of bloom begin to decline.   Deadheading spent buds and removing old scapes will improve overall look, but not improve plant performance.    Individual flowers last only one day, but since each plant produces many buds, the total blooming time of a well-established clump may last more than a month.   This plant is a blooming machine with a clumping plant!  * Bloomer * Large clumps * Durable

Astilbe - Maggie Daley - DetailsAstilbe - Maggie Daley - Sale Price: $39.95
Astilbe Maggie Daley, Astilbe chinensis 'Maggie Daley', displays a profusion of showy spikes of lavender-purple panicles in mid to late summer. The fuzzy flowers are full and packed closely together.  They resemble a bouquet as they sit on top of shiny, bronze-green foliage.   'Maggie Daley' blooms later than other astilbes and grows best in rich soil that is consistently moist. Astilbes are long-lived perennials that are most comfortable when grown in rich soil and light shade to filtered sun.  They will grow in full shade, but will not bloom as prolifically. ‘Maggie Daley’ is a robust and somewhat drought resistant plant that is similar to Astilbe 'Visions'. Though they are easy to grow, Astilbes have one critical requirement--lots of water.  The plants must have consistently moist soil; dryness leads to a quick demise, especially in the sun. Fertilize Astilbes in late spring before flowering starts. Wait to cut back the old foliage until spring; it will help protect the plant from winter damage. Maggie Daley is an excellent perennial for lightly shaded areas.  Plant this dense, vigorous growing plant for additional color in the lightly shaded area of your garden.  You will be glad you did! * Robust * Easy to grow * Drought tolerant

Bowles Golden Sedge Grass, Carex elata 'Bowles Golden', has dazzling bright gold foliage with narrow green margins that make Carex 'Bowles Golden' really stand out in the garden. The attractive arching habit and its bright foliage color make a great companion plant for Heucheras. This variety thrives in consistently moist soils, and it can also be grown in shallow water at the edge of a garden pond. The more sun, the more color you get in the foliage! It is an excellent choice as a highlight plant for a shade or water garden. Since Carex Bowles Golden is a moisture loving grass, and will grow in shallow water, it looks great around a pond with blue hostas. In northern climates, it should be kept from winter winds and provided with some protection such as snow or straw. If plants look tattered in early spring, cut them back to the ground. The new foliage will quickly fill back in. Add color to your landscape!
