'Silver Dragon' is easily grown in average, medium, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade.  Divide clumps every 2 to 3 years in early spring; prune in winter. The erect flower spikes with pale lavender flowers appear, somewhat hidden, among the leaves in late summer.  The flowers often give way to greenish berries in fall.   This ‘Silver Dragon’ Liriope spreads by underground rhizomes and makes a wonderful groundcover; can be used for erosion control; also plant under tough areas such as shallow rooted trees or along ponds or streams.
