Daylily - Blueberry Candy Hemerocallis Blueberry Candy, Hemerocallis 'Blueberry Candy', is a marvelous reblooming plant with fragrant, soft ivory flowers. It has a blueberry colored eye and ruffled petals. ‘Blueberry Candy’ blooms profusely in midsummer and then again in late summer when many other perennials are beginning to fade. Individual flowers last only one day, but since each plant produces many buds, the total blooming time of a well-established clump may last more than a month; attracts butterflies. Use this daylily for color in shrub borders and in perennial beds. Once established, the daylily can be an excellent groundcover on slopes because it has roots that hold soil against erosion. ‘Blueberry Candy’ also makes a beautiful floral arrangement.
