Hosta - Regal Supreme - Sale Price: $42.75 The Hosta Regal Supreme, Hosta 'Regal Supreme', displays its wavy, attractive frosty blue leaves on an upright vase-shaped plant.  Each leaf has a wide creamy yellow margin. As the summer progresses, the leaves’ colors change to blue-green with wide, creamy white margins.  This exciting hosta is topped by lavender flowers in mid through late summer on very tall scapes; hummingbirds will come often to visit! Hostas grow best in moist, well-drained, highly organic soils with a pH between 5.5 and 7.5.  Sandy loam is better than clay because it provides more aeration for the roots.  It is best to keep areas around hostas clear of excess leaf debris to reduce the presence of slugs and snails.  Plant this low care plant in an area that receives the right amount of light.  The leaves need some morning sun to bring out the best coloration; too much sun will burn the leaves.  'Regal Supreme' is most at home in shady, woodland settings and often works well as specimen or edging plant. False Indigo - Starlite Prairiebluesâ„¢ - Sale Price: $42.75 False Indigo Starlite Prairieblues, Baptisia 'Starlite Prairieblues™' PPAF, is the second introduction to the lovely Prairieblues™ series of Baptisia. The dramatic 24 inch long flower stems resemble huge lupine flowers and make great cut flowers.  In late spring, the deep violet-lavender buds of 'Starlite Prairieblues™' PPAF unfurl into lovely periwinkle-blue blooms with contrasting butter-cream keels. The profusion of flowers rises just above the well-maintained foliage.  'Starlite Prairieblues™' looks great even when not in bloom! It is a good, vigorous grower, extremely long lived, and destined to become a favorite in the garden.  The Baptisia looks attractive by itself, against walls and fences, or combined in a border with other June bloomers.   Full sun is best for the most successful flowering and performance.  It grows well in average to dry soil but adapts to most conditions.  The remarkable charcoal black seedpods add a nice touch to dried floral arrangements! Lamium - Ghost - Sale Price: $49.95 Lamium Ghost, Lamium maculatum 'Ghost', has a large mound of all silver leaves, which becomes is a great backdrop for its attractive clusters of bright orchid purple flowers! Lamium 'Ghost', introduced by Intrinsic Perennial Gardens, stands 1' tall and the leaves are large, measuring 1.5 long compared to .5 - .75 long on the other varieties. 'Ghost' is an excellent groundcover and is also deer and rabbit resistant. Lamium prefers a semi-shady dry area with well-drained soil, but will tolerate a wide range of soils and moisture; do not allow it to dry out.  It is best to cut this plant back after the first bloom to promote compact growth.   It disguises dying bulb foliage very well, and makes an excellent weed-smothering ground cover! Dianthus - Fire Star - Sale Price: $39.95 The Dianthus Fire Star, Dianthus 'Fire Star' (PPAF), has vibrant red flowers with a dark red eye.  The flowers provide a striking contrast as they appear on evergreen, glaucous grey-green foliage; the foliage gives off a spicy scent of cloves!   The red flowers with a deeper crimson eye appear on stems rising slightly above the foliage mound to 8” tall; flowers bloom 3-5 per stem.  Flowering may continue sporadically throughout the summer.
