Lobelia - Monet Moment - Sale Price: $42.75 The Lobelia Monet Moment, Lobelia ‘Monet Moment’, also known as Cardinal Flower, has unique, large masses of rose pink spiked flowers with burgundy foliage.  This is a late season dynamo because it has great flower production from late summer to fall.  Fast, easy and rewarding, this lobelia has columns of bright pink flowers that last longer than most Lobelia, and are fragrant as well! It has a plant height of 36' and a spread of 12-18.  'Monet Moment' needs to be planted in full sun, but it will take a surprising amount of shade and still bloom like crazy. It does prefer moist soil but should be planted in a well-drained area. Hosta - Sleeping Beauty - Sale Price: $39.95 Hosta Sleeping Beauty, Hosta 'Sleeping Beauty', is a sport of the award winning Hosta 'Halcyon' and is one of our favorites! The pointed, frosty blue-green leaves are complemented by a lovely creamy margin.  Hosta 'Sleeping Beauty' is a superb grower with thick, slug resistant foliage; pale lavender blue flowers appear in mid-summer.  Hostas grow best in moist, well-drained, highly organic soils with a pH between 5.5 and 7.5.  Sandy loam is better than clay because it provides more aeration for the roots.  It is best to keep areas around hostas clear of excess leaf debris to reduce the presence of slugs and snails.  Plant this low care plant in an area that receives the right amount of light.  The leaves need some morning sun to bring out the best coloration; too much sun will burn the leaves. Coreopsis - Zagreb - Sale Price: $49.95 The Coreopsis ‘Zagreb’, Coreopsis verticillata, is a prolific bloomer of bright yellow flowers that bloom from June through October. Winner of the 2001 RHS Award of Garden Merit, Coreopsis ‘Zagreb’ is a little shorter than the rest of the Coreopsis family. With a plant height of 15” and a spread of 12-18”, its delicate dark green foliage has an airy and delicate appearance. ‘Zagreb’ should be planted in full sun. It is drought-tolerant and tough but does need well-drained soil. It should be cut backing early and late summer to extend the bloom period. Coreopsis Zagreb looks great with any type of grass, in borders or mass plantings in sunny gardens. It is very effective in naturalized areas, rock and cottage gardens or wild gardens. No garden should be without it.
