Daisy - Becky Shasta - Sale Price: $39.95 The Daisy 'Shasta' Leucanthemum ‘Becky Daisy’, leucanthemum superbum, is the longest blooming daisy in the Leucanthemum family! With bright, large, white beautiful flowers held above its dark green foliage, this plant has a height of 3’ and a spread of 18-24”.  Being Perennial of the Year in 2003, one can see why. ‘Becky Daisy’ blooms from July to September, and if deadheaded, the blooming time will be extended. In late spring, Amsonia 'Blue Ice' forms clusters of navy blue buds at the ends of each stem that open to periwinkle blue star shaped flowers. The bright green foliage of 'Blue Ice' turns a rich shade of yellow in the fall creating a new dimension of color for your fall landscape. 'Blue Ice' is adaptable to most conditions, however if it is too shady they may topple over. Amsonia 'Blue Ice' is very easy to grow, hardy and drought tolerant once established. Although the blooms will last only for one day, there are many blooms on strong stems that rise above tall grassy foliage, (remove in late fall).  Divide every 3-5 years, or when the number of flower buds and the size of bloom begin to decline.   Plant daylilies in sites that provide well-drained soil and plenty of sun. ‘Pandora’s Box’ is considered to be pest and deer resistant.  Use for cut flowers, massing, edging, in borders or in mixed containers and tubs.  Once established, the daylily can be an excellent groundcover on slopes because it has roots that hold soil against erosion.   The ‘Pandora’s Box’ daylily can survive many harsh conditions that other plants cannot including: polluted city environments, slopes, poor and dry soils, near pavement that is salted in winter, and under Black Walnut trees (not affected by juglone).
