Dianthus - Raspberry Swirl - Sale Price: $49.95 The Dianthus 'Raspberry Swirl', Dianthus 'Devon Siskin', (sometimes called Siskin Clocks) is a mesmerizing plant! 'Devon Siskin' has dense mounds of grey green, evergreen foliage that grows to 7 inches tall with a spread of 12 inches. Producing bright pink flowers with deep burgundy edging and central disks, these blooms drown the foliage in late spring to early summer. As they age, the petals fade to white and the picotee edges changes to magenta.  If they are deadheaded, they will bloom again in the fall! Dianthus grow best in sunny areas and prefers limited moisture and prefers a cool climate, full sun, and rich, well drained soil; very easy to grow. This Bleeding Heart should be planted in full sun but will tolerate morning shade.  It is heat tolerant and needs moist soil.  Do not let it dry out.
