Clematis - The President
Clematis - The President Clematis The President, Clematis 'The President', is a very popular cultivar with rich, purple-blue flowers; a very striking color! The large 7 flowers have a somewhat cupped shape with silvery undersides and striking dark red anthers. It reblooms in late summer to early fall. Clematis 'The President’ needs a supporting structure to grow properly and it is easy to grow with a rich, porous, alkaline soil that has plenty of room for the roots to spread. Best performance is when the tops are in full sunlight and the roots are shaded, but will thrive and bloom in shade. Apply generous mulch or a shallow-rooted ground cover near the base of the vine. Very reliable performers once established; they take a season or two. Plant this hardy, compact and free-flowering clematis for a burst of color in early fall; especially noticed while other plants begin to lose their luster! * Hardy * Reliable * Striking purple flowers

Yarrow - Moonshine - Sale Price: $64.25 The Yarrow ‘Moonshine’, Achillea 'Moonshine'’, is an upright canary-yellow flower that blooms from June through September. With evergreen foliage in mild winter regions, this non-spreading Achillea is a definite winner. ‘Moonshine’ Yarrow is unlike the common Yarrow, being shorter in height and less invasive. The flower heads are 4” wide, with a spread of 18-24” and a height of 24”. ‘Moonshine’ Yarrow is a great addition to a sunny perennial border, planted in pots or combined with ornamental grasses. ‘Moonshine’ can tolerate poor soil conditions, but does best in lean, dry to medium wet, well-drained soil. (Avoid heavy clays and moist, rich, fertile soils.) Yarrow should be planted in full sun and is tolerant to hot humid summers. Use this plant in borders, as cut and dried flowers, and in containers. Remove faded flowers to encourage more growth and divide every 3-4 years. For an attraction to butterflies, deer and rabbit resistant, one can’t go wrong with this plant. * Yellow Flowers * Evergreen in warm climates |
| Daylily - Exotic Candy - Sale Price: $54.95 Hemerocallis Exotic Candy, Hemerocallis 'Exotic Candy', is a fragrant new daylily that will burst with color during the summer, and then reliably follows up with another surge of reblooms later in the season! Displaying a light pink flower that opens to a prominent dark rose eye and a bright green throat, ‘Exotic Candy’ shows excellent vigor and superlative garden performance. It has superb branching, a heavy bud count, and an energetic growth spurt that promotes rebloom; provides an impressive bud count of 25 to 30 blooms per scape, so it makes a glorious show in midsummer! Individual flowers last only one day, but since each plant produces many buds, the total blooming time of a well-established clump may last more than a month. Divide every 3-5 years, or when the number of flower buds and the size of bloom begin to decline. Use ‘Exotic Candy’ daylily for color in shrub borders and in perennial beds. Once established, the daylily can be an excellent groundcover on slopes because it has roots that hold soil against erosion; attracts butterflies. ‘Exotic Candy’ also makes a beautiful floral arrangement! * Prominent “eye” * Vigorous * Superb branching |
