Bee Balm - Purple Rooster - Sale Price: $39.95 Monarda (Bee Balm) Purple Rooster, Monarda didyma 'Purple Rooster', is a clump-forming plant of the mint family. ‘Purple Rooster’ will really “strut its stuff” in the landscape with its deep wine colored flowers that appear as raspberries in bud stage. This Bee Balm is easy to grow, multiplies quickly, and is native of eastern North America; has minty aromatic foliage often used to flavor teas multiplies quickly. The purple flowers attract hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees to the garden. Clematis - Dr. Ruppel - Sale Price: $42.75 Clematis Dr. Ruppel, Clematis 'Dr. Ruppel', features deep rose-pink 8 inch flowers that have petals with bold carmine-red central bars. Wonderfully free flowering plants bloom in late spring and again in late summer. Its compact habit makes 'Dr. Ruppel' one of the best for container growing. It is also known for its large attractive spherical seed heads. Good cut flower variety. Awarded Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit. Clematis 'Dr. Ruppel' needs a supporting structure to grow properly but will also grow over large shrubs, over walls, cover stumps, and make perfect cover ups for unsightly service areas. Clematis is easy to grow in a rich, porous, alkaline soil with plenty of room for the roots to spread. Best performance is when the tops are in full sunlight and the roots are shaded, so apply a generous mulch or a shallow-rooted ground cover near the base of the vine. Very reliable performers once established; they take a season or two.
