Clematis - Vyvyan Pennell - Sale Price: $42.75 Clematis Vyvyan Pennell Clematis 'Vyvyan Pennell', bears huge 8 double flowers in the spring and reblooms in August with single light violet flowers; one of the best double flowered clematis variety. The impressive flowers are violet-blue with reddish overtones and have contrasting gold stamens.  It was awarded Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit. The fuzzy flowers are full and packed closely together.  They resemble a bouquet as they sit on top of shiny, bronze-green foliage.   'Maggie Daley' blooms later than other astilbes and grows best in rich soil that is consistently moist.
