Scabiosa - Butterfly Blue - Sale Price: $49.95 The Scabiosa 'Butterfly Blue’, Scabiosa columbaria, also known as the Pincushion Flower, has wonderful 2 lavender-blue flowers that bloom from June to October. ‘Butterfly Blue’ is a reminiscent of a pincushion full of pins. With its gray-green foliage, it has a plant height of 12” and a spread of 12-18. It is also disease resistant. Scabiosa ‘Butterfly Blue’ was name Perennial Plant of the Year in 2000, and one can see why. It is best to plant Scabiosa in full sun, with well-drained soil and should be watered regularly throughout the warmer months to increase its overall performance. Deadheading after the first bloom will encourage repeat bloom time. ‘Butterfly Blue’ is great for attracting butterflies and hummingbirds and does excellent in rock gardens. Grass - Little Bluestem - Sale Price: $64.25 The Grass 'Little Bluestem', Schizachyrium scoparium, is a native American prairie grass. It is also know as Sagegrass or Beard grass'. It can reach up to 3-4' and has a blueish hue to the leaves. The leaves turn a rich orangy wheat color in fall.It will tolerate poor soils. A great plant for mass plantings. It provides cover and feeding sites for quail, turkeys and other ground nesting birds. Flowers are scattered along the upper parts of the stem branches, with long hairs creating a feathery appearance. There is a single, white,hairy flower cluster at the tip of each stalk.

Blazing Star - Kobold Gayfeather - Sale Price: $49.95 The Liatris ‘Kobold Gayfeather’, Liatris spicata, has tall, lilac-rose spike-shaped flowers with a fluffy appearance and dark green foliage. These unique flowers open from the top down and bloom from June to September.  It is a major butterfly and bee attractor. Liatris ‘Kobold’ has a plant height of 2’ and a spread of 12-18” and should be planted in full sun in a well-drained area.  It does prefer a bit more moisture than most Liatris, but do not over water. Liatris ‘Kobold’ looks great as a perennial background, with grasses or white blooming flowers such as Physostegia ‘Miss Manners’. Lungwort - Cevennensis - Sale Price: $56.95 Lungwort Cevennensis, Pulmonaria longifolia 'Cevennensis', is a clump forming lungwort that is valued by gardeners for its attractive foliage. It features very long and narrow silvery spotted leaves. In the spring, drooping clusters of funnel-shaped, dark violet-blue flowers appear. Lungwort Cevennensis is easily grown in average, medium, well-drained soil in part shade to full shade, but it prefers cool soils that are moist and humusy. This lungwort is very tolerant of wet, poorly drained soils, so it must have constant moisture and not be allowed to dry out; leaves can depreciate considerably in extremely hot weather or too much sun. Keeping the plant moist will maintain an attractive foliage after bloom and throughout the summer. Lungwort Cevennensis spreads very slowly by creeping roots, and it is best to divide the plants in the fall. Deer resistant.

Sirius Water Lily - Sale Price: $29.95 Named for the brightest star in the sky, this outstanding lily lives up to its name by producing large purplish-red flowers in profusion. The leaves are flecked maroon before maturing to all green. ‘Sirius’ is truly a classic in the water lily world, hybridized by Latour-Marliac Nursery in 1913. The purple-red flowers are 6-7 inches wide, the large leaves are 10-11 inches wide, and the overall plant spread is 5-6 feet wide. This water lily grows best in full to partial sun.
