Grass - Yaku Jima Maiden
The Grass 'Yaku Jima' Maiden, Miscanthus sinensis 'Yaku Jima', is compact with fine textured foliage that turns reddish brown in the fall and remains attractive well into winter. Being very hardy and low growing, it tolerates a wide range of soil types; moderately drought tolerant; holds up to wind and snow. Use as a specimen, in a container, as a border, along walkways, or by the water's edge. 'Yaku Jima' prefers full sun and moist, well drained soil; a great grass for small gardens.
