Grass - Weeping Love - Sale Price: $64.25 The Grass 'Weeping Love', Eragrostis curvula, is a wiry perennial grass with narrow, light green foliage; foliage is wispy and moves in the wind. Arching, lavender-gray panicles appear in mid to late summer. The drooping leaf characteristic gives rise to the name “weeping” lovegrass. This grass features dark green, fine textured, almost hair-like foliage that forms dense clumps. The seed heads are erect or drooping and produce small very numerous seeds. This grass grows on almost any well-drained soil, but prefers the sandy loams; also will grow on low fertility soils; responds well to fertilization. 'Weeping Love' is a grass that is perfect for erosion control and can be used in mass plantings, as a specimen, or in borders. It prefers a light-textured, well-drained soil, and will thrive on soils of low fertility. This grass is very drought tolerant and tough.

The dramatic, lacy leaves are adorned with heavily marked dark centers and have a shiny appearance that almost appears to be lacquered. In spring, a profusion of lightly fragrant bottlebrush flowers are displayed for a very long time. The flowers of Tiarella 'Sugar & Spice' are white with a unique pink frosting. 'Sugar and Spice' will do best in full shade and needs average to moist soil. Try planting this popular perennial with Lamium ‘White Nancy’, Hosta ‘Patriot’ or ‘Japanese Painted Fern’ for contrasting color.
