Heuchera Vienna, Heuchera 'Vienna', is amazingly versatile and reliable.  It shows off a wonderful orange to rose-orange leaf color on a mounding compact plant. The reblooming rose pink flowers appear on short wands in summer.  Vienna is one of the City series which bloom and bloom and bloom, and anyone who sees this plant is bound to be impressed! Used in the front of the border, for accent, or in containers, Vienna will hold its color all season.  This coral bell can handle full sun in the north, but in the southern areas morning sun is best. Cold and drought tolerant and withstanding heat and humidity, nothing seems to phase this plant.  But to keep ‘Vienna’ looking its best, be sure to water in hot, dry weather, giving the plant about one inch of water per week. Deer resistant. Coneflower Green Jewel, Echinacea purpurea 'Green Jewel' (PP#18,678), is a fragrant jewel every garden must have! The Scabiosa 'Butterfly Blue’, Scabiosa columbaria, also known as the Pincushion Flower, has wonderful 2 lavender-blue flowers that bloom from June to October. ‘Butterfly Blue’ is a reminiscent of a pincushion full of pins. With its gray-green foliage, it has a plant height of 12” and a spread of 12-18. It is also disease resistant. The ‘Japanese Painted Fern’, Athyrium niponicum ‘Pictum', is a low maintenance, deciduous fern with soft grayish-green and silvery dark maroon foliage; has a weeping habit and exquisite foliage that appears “painted” with silver. The Hosta ‘Wide Brim’ has a deep blue-green center with very wide, irregular margins of cream with gold tints at maturity, making it very striking. The lavender flowers bloom from July to August, however, hostas are not known only for their flowers.  With this plant having a height of 20” and a spread of 32-36”, ‘Wide Brim’ hosta provides bright color in shade with its wonderful foliage. Plant this low care plant in an area that receives the right amount of light.  The leaves need some morning sun to bring out the best coloration; too much sun will burn the leaves.  ‘Wide Brim’ is most at home in shady, woodland settings and often works well as specimen or edging plant. Hostas grow best in moist, well-drained, highly organic soils with a pH between 5.5 and 7.5.  Sandy loam is better than clay because it provides more aeration for the roots.  It is best to keep areas around hostas clear of excess leaf debris to reduce the presence of slugs and snails.  Due to its versatility and ease of care, along with its striking mounded form, ‘Wide Brim’ is a favorite of landscape designers! * Slug resistance * Clumping habit * Appealing foliage
