Coreopsis - Early Sunrise - Sale Price: $35.65 The Coreopsis ‘Early Sunrise’, Coreopsis grandiflora, is a definite superstar among yellow flowers.  This All-American Selections Gold Medal Award Winner has yellow flowers flush to orange-yellow near the center.  The 2” blooms are crowded atop a neat, compact 24-inch plant!    In the Tickseed family, the dark green thread leaf foliage makes a great contrast with the flower color.  ‘Early Sunrise’ is a frog and hedgehog attractor. ‘Early Sunrise’ blooms at least 3 weeks before most others; blooms June through October.   It should be planted in full sun and is drought-tolerant and tough, but does need well-drained soil. Clematis - Vyvyan Pennell - Sale Price: $42.75 Clematis Vyvyan Pennell Clematis 'Vyvyan Pennell', bears huge 8 double flowers in the spring and reblooms in August with single light violet flowers; one of the best double flowered clematis variety. Foxglove - Foxy Mix - Sale Price: $56.95 The Foxglove Foxy Mix, Digitalis ‘Foxy Mix’, is a showy and compact perennial that produces an array of pastel blooms. Colors include: pink, pale yellow, purple, white and magenta with marbled markings. The dense spikes produce large tubular flowers.  The foliage has a velvet and fuzzy texture that contrasts well with the flower colors. ‘Foxy Mix’ has a plant height of 30-36” and a spread of 8-10”.  Digitalis should be planted in full sun but will tolerate morning shade.  It blooms early to mid summer, in most climates, partial shade is best, though it will grow in full sun in northern regions. Scabiosa - Pink Mist - Sale Price: $24.95 The Scabiosa 'Pink Mist', Scabiosa columbaria, (PP 8957) also known as the Pincushion Flower, has wonderful 2 pink flowers that bloom from June to October. 'Pink Mist' is a reminiscent of a pincushion full of pins. With its gray-green foliage, it has a plant height of 12” and a spread of 12-18, not to mention being disease resistant. It is best to plant Pink Mist Scabiosa in full sun, with well-drained soil and should be watered regularly throughout the warmer months to increase its overall performance. Deadheading after the first bloom will encourage repeat bloom time. 'Pink Mist' is great for attracting butterflies and hummingbirds and does excellent in rock gardens. Hosta - Key West - Sale Price: $42.75 Hosta Key West, Hosta 'Key West', is a member of the 'Americana Series'.  This very large, fast growing Hosta is a cross between Hosta 'Elatior' and 'High Noon'. Lavender flowers are formed in early summer.  Hosta 'Key West' is a lovely plant with its smooth heart shaped leaves and pleasing gold color.  The bright gold, heart-shaped leaves are very large and form a clump of foliage that when mature, will reach over 6' across! 'Key West', is a low care perennial and is ideal for shady positions and is one of the most popular for landscapes.  It is best to keep areas around hostas clear of excess leaf debris to reduce the presence of slugs and snails. It grows well in moist, well-drained, highly organic soils with a pH between 5.5 and 7.5.  Sandy loam is better than clay because it provides more aeration for the roots. Plant 'Key West', in an area that receives the right amount of light.  The leaves need some morning sun to bring out the best coloration; too much sun will burn the leaves.
