Coreopsis - Sienna Sunset
Coreopsis Sienna Sunset, Threadleaf Coreopsis 'Sienna Sunset' PPAF, produces a dramatic flower that reflects the colors of a romantic seaside sunset! Coreopsis 'Sienna Sunset' PPAF was discovered by Sunny Border Nurseries and has large flowers that delight with a long bloom life.  This new color of burnt sienna that ages to salmon-orange is a magnet for butterflies and gardeners alike. 'Sienna Sunset' Coreopsis is easy to place, requiring only a sunny spot with average garden soil.  It is a very heavy bloomer and cuts well. Give this plant a hard shearing to promote re-bloom. Blooms June to July with some blooming until fall. Tickseed is used for accent plants, border plants, mass plantings, patio containers and cut flowers. Since it fades to a rich salmon as it ages, it can be blended with coneflowers and complements the dark-leaved Heucheras. Plant  'Sienna Sunset' into well-drained, lean, non-clay soils, and pair it with red or yellow flowers for an outrageous display of floral fireworks! * Easy to grow * Heavy bloomer * Accent plant
