Coneflower - Meringue - Sale Price: $49.95 Coneflower Meringue, Echinacea purpurea 'Meringue' PPAF, produces creamy yellow pom-poms with apple green centers, set atop white ray petals, creating this delicious meringue coneflower. As the flower ages, Echinacea 'Meringue' PPAF, opens as flat as a daisy, and as it matures the center cone grows upward and develops short, puffy petals that give it that gumdrop look. Dianthus - Fire Star - Sale Price: $39.95 The Dianthus Fire Star, Dianthus 'Fire Star' (PPAF), has vibrant red flowers with a dark red eye.  The flowers provide a striking contrast as they appear on evergreen, glaucous grey-green foliage; the foliage gives off a spicy scent of cloves!   The red flowers with a deeper crimson eye appear on stems rising slightly above the foliage mound to 8” tall; flowers bloom 3-5 per stem.  Flowering may continue sporadically throughout the summer. This plant blooms the best in the early summer, however, it will rebloom in the fall if deadheaded.  It is a favorite as a border plant or in rock gardens. 'Fire Star' needs a sunny site with well-drained soil, but will tolerate some shade in the afternoon along with humidity.  Regular watering during prolonged dry spells will be necessary.  However, this plant is tolerant of short periods of dryness. Lungwort - Cevennensis - Sale Price: $56.95 Lungwort Cevennensis, Pulmonaria longifolia 'Cevennensis', is a clump forming lungwort that is valued by gardeners for its attractive foliage. It features very long and narrow silvery spotted leaves. In the spring, drooping clusters of funnel-shaped, dark violet-blue flowers appear. Lungwort Cevennensis is easily grown in average, medium, well-drained soil in part shade to full shade, but it prefers cool soils that are moist and humusy. This lungwort is very tolerant of wet, poorly drained soils, so it must have constant moisture and not be allowed to dry out; leaves can depreciate considerably in extremely hot weather or too much sun. Keeping the plant moist will maintain an attractive foliage after bloom and throughout the summer. Lungwort Cevennensis spreads very slowly by creeping roots, and it is best to divide the plants in the fall. Deer resistant.
