It produces long, twisted, and narrow gold leaves that have a “ripple” effect.  When the new leaves emerge, they have narrow blue-green margins that blend nicely toward their golden yellow centers.   The foliage makes a transition in the summer: to chartreuse with green margins.  Having lots of appeal, this low horizontal mounding hosta displays its lavender flowers in the summer, rising above its unique foliage. Yarrow - Paprika - Sale Price: $64.25 The Yarrow ‘Paprika’, Achillea millefolium, is an upright gold centered, fading to light pink & creamy yellow, Yarrow that blooms from June through September. With fern-like aromatic silvery to gray-green foliage, it is considered to be one of the best yarrows in any landscape. The foliage has a somewhat strong, spicy aroma, which persists when used in dried arrangements. The flower heads are 3-4” wide, with a spread of 18-24” and a height of 24”. This Yarrow does well in average garden soils, but prefers lean, dry to medium wet, well-drained soil. (Avoid heavy clays and moist, rich, fertile soils.)
