Grass - Desert Plains - Sale Price: $42.75 Pennisetum 'Desert Plains', Pennisetum alopecuroides 'Desert Plains', is a hardy and graceful, fountain grass that makes a dazzling focal point in a sunny landscape. It is easy to grow and needs at least 6 hours of direct sun per day. Desert Plains is a seedling of Cassian, but has an improved habit, better flowering performance, and richer fall color. Desert Plains forms a stunning upright vase-shaped clump. The plants fine textured leaves make a transition from green with deep red tips, to shades of orange and bronze in the fall. Ajuga - Chocolate Chip - Sale Price: $39.95 The Ajuga ‘Chocolate Chip’, Ajuga x 'Chocolate Chip', is a useful ground cover with short spikes of blue flowers. This Ajuga has unusually narrow foliage of dark green, overlaid with chocolate-brown, forming a very low clump.  It is most noted for its dwarf habit and its chocolate foliage. The flowers appear in spring and are 4” in height with a plant width of 12-18”. It is not as invasive as most other Ajuga and best-planted 6-9” apart for a quick cover. Ajuga ‘Chocolate Chips’ will do best in a shaded area but will adapt to morning sun. It prefers moist soil with a good drainage but will tolerate moderately dry areas. Avoid soggy conditions; Ajuga ‘Chocolate Chip’ looks great in rock gardens and in front of borders and in containers. This miniature Fountain Grass is ideal for rock gardens or anywhere you need to provide color. With a plant height of 8-10 and a spread of 12-24, it is one of the smallest in its family. 'Little Bunny' should be planted in full sun to part shade and needs medium to wet moisture. The plumes on 'Little Bunny' will appear from August to October, appearing whitish green.
