False Indigo - Twilite Prairiebluesâ„¢
False Indigo Twilite Prairieblues, Baptisia 'Twilite Prairieblues™' PPAF, is an amazing, vigorous and strong growing hybrid of Baptisia australis and Baptisia sphaerocarpa.  This new color breakthrough is the result of extensive breeding efforts at the Chicago Botanical Garden. By the third year 'Twilite Prairieblues™' PPAF produces almost 100 flower spikes of unique deep pea-like violet-purple flowers, highlighted by a dramatic lemon-yellow keel.  Held above the handsome blue-green foliage, the inflorescences can be up to 32 inches long!  When 'Twilite Prairieblues™' is not in bloom, this plant remains attractive because of the lovely blue-green colored leaves it displays, especially throughout the spring season! It is a good, vigorous grower, extremely long lived, and destined to become a favorite in the garden.  The Baptisia looks attractive by itself, against walls and fences, or combined in the back of a border with other June bloomers.   Full sun is best for the most successful flowering and performance.  It grows well in average to dry soil but adapts to most conditions.   'Twilite Prairieblues™' has a very deep tap root, giving it the ability to survive long dry periods and making it a challenge to move once it is established.  The plant can be cut back after flowering to encourage a flush of new blue-green growth.  It is deer resistant. 'Twilite Prairieblues™ has the most attractive foliage of a Baptisia, and it does take a couple of years to really get going! * Favorite * Drought tolerant * Impressive flowers

Daylily - El Desperado - DetailsDaylily - El Desperado - Sale Price: $39.95
The Daylily El Desperado, Hemerocallis 'El Desperado' (Stamile, '91), has large, mustard yellow flowers with a bold and contrasting purple eye above a green throat with green foliage. ‘El Desperado’ is a popular daylily among daylily lovers!  It adds an extremely high bud count and an extended 16-hour bloom time that lets you enjoy blooms in the late afternoon and evening. It will bloom early in the season and then repeat bloom late in the season.  It can survive harsh conditions that many other plants cannot and prefers full sun for the best performance. Daylilies are some of the easiest plants to grow and are a good choice for any gardener.  They will grow in almost any soil and handle drought to wet soil conditions. In areas that receive less than 6 hours of sun during the day, your daylilies will probably produce fewer and smaller blooms, and the foliage may not be as robust. Use 'El Desperado' for stand alone plantings, edging, in borders or in mixed containers and tubs.  Planted together in large numbers, they quickly crowd out weeds and make a carefree and colorful ground cover. Because it blooms in late summer when other plants begin to lose their luster, ‘El Desperado’ is a tried-and-true first class performer that stands out in any landscape! * Extended bloom time * Dramatic and exquisite * Popular

Phlox - Emerald Pink - DetailsPhlox - Emerald Pink - Sale Price: $39.95
Phlox Emerald Pink, Phlox subulata 'Emerald Pink', ushers in spring with a profusion of fabulous color. This low growing creeping phlox is no taller than 6. Phlox 'Emerald Pink' has a compact habit that is perfect for borders and rock gardens. Mass plantings of 'Emerald Pink' will create a beautiful sea of pink in your garden landscape! During the winter, in cold areas, the plants may die back and recover again in the spring. * Attracts Butterflies * Blooms Late Spring * Deer Resistant
