Grass - Shenandoah Switch - Sale Price: $37.95 The Grass 'Shenandoah Switch Grass', Panicum virgatum 'Shenandoah', has a burgundy-red color to the foliage. This one starts out red in June, by mid-summer it looks like Bloodgrass, and in fall, it is a rich burgundy. The foliage starts out as deep green but takes on the red color thru the summer. The 4' height makes this a good choice for a specimen plant. It is one of the shortest Switch Grass varieties available. Given full sun and average soil, it is a moderate to fast grower. This plant will grow in dry to moist soils or well-drained, loamy, sandy or clay soils with a pH of a neutral to slightly alkaline. In early spring, before new growth begins, cut the old grass to the ground. If you want to divide the clump, do so in the spring. Hibiscus - Party Favor - Sale Price: $71.25 Hibiscus Party Favor (Rose Mellow), Hibiscus moscheutos 'Party Favor', forms a large clumping habit that makes this plant a “stand alone” in the landscape because of its extended bloom time! From midsummer until frost, the large, long lasting blooms will create a striking display.  ‘Party Favor’ has large rose-pink buds that open to glossy, medium pink flowers that have overlapping petals with red eye centers.  This hibiscus is a super long-blooming plant that produces large dinner plate-sized 8-10 inch wide pink blossoms! It is a clump-forming, warm season grass which typically grows in an upright, vertical clump to 3' tall (to 5' when in flower). Its foliage is green, tinged with red during the growing season, then turning bright red in the fall. Nothing comes close to the fall color displayed by this grass, and it retains this color throughout the winter! It will attract birds and is suitable for cut and dried flower arrangements. Red Switch Grass prefers full sun, moist fertile soil, but adapts to a wide range of soil conditions. Red Switch is a warm season grass that likes to grow in warm weather. Before it will show signs of life in the spring, the soil must warm up, and be warm for possibly as long as two weeks. This switch grass can be used very effectively when planted with fall blooming asters. Cut back clumps to the ground in late winter to early spring.
