Mountain Bluet - Bachelors Button - Sale Price: $35.65 The Centaurea ‘Bachelor's Button’, Centaurea montana, also known as Cornflower and Blue Bottle, has small thistle-like single flowers at the end of a delicate stem.  These radiant flowers are bright blue and very showy, with gray-green foliage. With a height of 24” and a plant width of 12-24”, it is an excellent late summer to early fall bloomer.  If cut back after blooming, it will continue to produce new blooms throughout the season. Columbine - Blue Barlow - Sale Price: $49.95 The Columbine Blue Barlow, 'Aquilegia vulgaris 'Blue Barlow', produces unusual double, dahlia-like blooms that are blue-violet and lack the typical columbine spurs that nod gracefully above compact foliage in late spring. This plant grows to 2 feet tall and wide. Deadheading is recommended to prolong blooming. The wonderful plants perform best when planted in partially shaded areas.  Blue Barlow blooms in late spring to early summer and it can be used as a cut flower. Daylily - Pandora's Box - Sale Price: $49.95 The Daylily Pandora's Box, 'Hemerocallis ‘Pandora’s Box’, has very fragrant lightly ruffled, white petals with a purple throat and a flower size of 4”.  It has dark green foliage and will reach a height of 24-26” and a plant spread of 36”. ‘Pandora’s Box’ will bloom from May through July, with outstanding color and it is a definite rebloomer! ‘Pandora’s Box’ prefers a full sun area that is well-drained. Although the blooms will last only for one day, there are many blooms on strong stems that rise above tall grassy foliage, (remove in late fall).  Divide every 3-5 years, or when the number of flower buds and the size of bloom begin to decline.   Plant daylilies in sites that provide well-drained soil and plenty of sun. ‘Pandora’s Box’ is considered to be pest and deer resistant.  Use for cut flowers, massing, edging, in borders or in mixed containers and tubs.  Once established, the daylily can be an excellent groundcover on slopes because it has roots that hold soil against erosion.   The ‘Pandora’s Box’ daylily can survive many harsh conditions that other plants cannot including: polluted city environments, slopes, poor and dry soils, near pavement that is salted in winter, and under Black Walnut trees (not affected by juglone).
