Daylily - Chicago Apache
The Chicago Apache Daylily, Hemerocallis 'Chicago Apache', is a deep, rich velvet red, with a tiny yellow-green heart. The petal edges crimp nicely. Chicago Apache is one of our longest bloomers. It was selected for its abundance of blossoms, vibrant colors, and hardiness in a variety of climates and soils. This daylily is carefree, pest resistant and free of daylily rust disease, which is outstanding! It will even grow under Black Walnut trees and along salted driveways. 'Chicago Apache' Daylily is a heavy feeder and likes a high nitrogen fertilizer. It is best to use a slow release fertilizer in the early spring when new growth first appears. Flower stems can be removed after blooming to encourage additional blooms. Vegetation can be cleaned up and discarded in late fall or early spring. Can be divided most any time of year and division is usually needed every 3-4 years for best performance.

The Hellebore Ivory Prince PP16199, 'Helleborus x 'Walhelivory', is a cool climate, vigorous growing perennial.  The blue green, leathery, evergreen foliage is shrub-like and is the canvas for the lovely, creamy white blooms that blush pink as they mature. Hellebore ‘Ivory Prince’ is compact and shorter than most hellebores, and it is incredibly floriferous with upward facing waxy blooms in green, shading to ivory and tinged in pink! The ‘Ivory Prince’ prefers part shade and rich soil.  ‘Ivory Prince’ requires a moist, shaded site and responds especially well to planting under deep-rooted deciduous trees such as Oaks or Crab Apples. ‘Ivory Prince’ will bloom in late winter to early spring and will reach 12 to 18 inches tall and 18 to 24 inches wide.  Hellebores are easy to care for; trim back last year’s foliage in the spring.  They are deer and rabbit resistant, and drought tolerant once rooted. They make excellent patio and container plants and are useful in woodland shade. Hellebores generally prove tenacious and long-lived!  * Drought tolerant * Evergreen * Long living

The petals have a slight twist to them and are slightly recurved at the tips. This clematis will rebloom again in late summer with smaller 6 flowers. An outstanding variety with a vigorous growth habit, this clematis is best grown in a protected area to prevent wind damage to the very large flowers.   ‘Fireworks’ was Awarded Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Merit. Clematis 'Fireworks' needs a supporting structure to grow properly but will also grow over large shrubs, over walls, cover stumps, and make perfect cover ups for unsightly service areas. Clematis is easy to grow in a rich, porous, alkaline soil with plenty of room for the roots to spread. Best performance is when the tops are in full sunlight and the roots are shaded, so apply generous mulch or a shallow-rooted ground cover near the base of the vine. Groom this plant after first flowering by cutting back the top one-third to one-half of some stems. Clematis ‘Fireworks’ is a very reliable performer once established; it takes a season or two to get going! * Reliable * Vibrant color * Vigorous

Daylily - Dragon's Eye - DetailsDaylily - Dragon's Eye - Sale Price: $56.95
Daylily Dragon's Eye, Hemerocallis 'Dragon's Eye', has a name that says it all! Hemerocallis 'Dragon's Eye' has a bold red eye zone which extends halfway onto the petals to create a dramatic look.  The petals of the 4 flowers are exquisitely ruffled with a thin rose-red edge. To top it off, the bloom power of this hybrid is spectacular.  Each scape produces an average of 24 or more buds for a continuous show of color in midsummer. This variety is also known for excellent rebloom in late summer, which extends the bloom season.  One of the best eyed daylilies on the market today!  Daylilies are some of the easiest plants to grow and are a good choice for any gardener.  They thrive in full sun or light shade and tolerate many types of soil.  In areas that receive less than 6 hours of sun during the day, your daylilies will probably produce fewer and smaller blooms, and the foliage may not be as robust; daylilies can survive many harsh conditions that other plants cannot. Use for stand alone plantings, edging, in borders or in mixed containers and tubs.  Planted together in large numbers, they quickly crowd out weeds and make a carefree and colorful ground cover. Because it blooms all summer, has gorgeous color, and an attractive, clumping foliage, ‘Chicago Orchid’ is a pleasure to have in any garden! * Blooming power * Dramatic and exquisite

Virginia Creeper - DetailsVirginia Creeper - Sale Price: $55.35
The Virginia Creeper, Parthenocissus quinquefolia 'engalmani', is a fast-growing, high-climbing vine that attaches itself with tendrils which expand, disk-like, on their tips. The deciduous leaves that radiate outward from a leaf stem, like spokes on a wheel.   Each leaflet is about 3-7 long and an inch or two wide.  The leaves turn fiery red in fall and are very showy. The individual flowers are tiny and inconspicuous, and arranged in elaborate long-stemmed clusters, with each flower at the tip of its own flower stem. The berries are blue-black, less than a half-inch across and much relished by birds.  Easy to grow, the Virginia Creeper can get out of hand if not managed. Also known as Woodbine, it will send up sprouts and seed itself, and established plantings may smother shrubs and trees.  Virginia creeper will thrive in most soils, in sun or partial shade, with or without a structure to climb on. Virginia creeper is favored for its brilliant fall foliage and as a maintenance-free ground cover.  When allowed to clamber over trees or other tall structures, it develops elongated leafy festoons that are especially showy.  Where there is nothing to climb, it attaches to the ground with adventitious roots, and makes an excellent cover for slopes or other places where grass is not practical or desired. * Fast growing * High climbing * Brilliant fall color
