Daylily - Going Bananas
Daylily Going Bananas, Hemerocallis 'Going Bananas' PP#17164 is an incredible reblooming daylily that everyone will want in their gardens. The cheerful canary yellow flowers are 4 wide and bloom profusely in June and then continue reblooming through October! This is a definite improvement over the ever popular Hemerocallis 'Happy Returns'. Unlike 'Happy Returns', the flowers of Hemerocallis 'Going Bananas' always open fully, plus the flowers are much bigger, which offers an increased colorful display. Destined to become an American classic! Daylilies are some of the easiest plants to grow and are a good choice for any gardener. They will grow in almost any soil and handle drought to wet soil conditions. Use for stand alone plantings, edging, in borders or in mixed containers and tubs. Planted together in large numbers, they quickly crowd out weeds and make a carefree and colorful ground cover. Daylilies can survive many harsh conditions that other plants cannot including: polluted city environments, slopes, poor and dry soils, near pavement that is salted in winter, and under Black Walnut trees (not affected by juglone).

Hosta - Guardian Angel - DetailsHosta - Guardian Angel - Sale Price: $42.75
Hosta Guardian Angel, Hosta 'Guardian Angel', is a sport of 'Blue Angel’.  This hosta has large blue-green leaves that put on a show in early spring by displaying white centers.  As the plant matures, it tends to keep its white centers longer into the spring season. 'Guardian Angel' is quite unique because it offers this unusual color patterning: in the spring, the center of each new leaf is bright white, while the margins are cool blue!  This is the just the opposite of normal hosta leaf patterns. By late spring, a distinctive green misting covers the white centers, and in midsummer, clusters of light lavender flowers are produced.  Hosta 'Guardian Angel' has been chosen as a Popularity Poll winning specimen! This attractive sport of Hosta 'Blue Angel' can be somewhat slow growing, but will make a large mound when mature. 'Guardian Angel' is a low care perennial and is ideal for shady positions, tubs and patio pots, and one of the most popular landscape uses.  It is best to keep areas around hostas clear of excess leaf debris to reduce the presence of slugs and snails. It grows well in moist, well-drained, highly organic soils with a pH between 5.5 and 7.5.  Sandy loam is better than clay because it provides more aeration for the roots. Plant 'Guardian Angel' in an area that receives the right amount of light.  The leaves need some morning sun to bring the rich golden color out; too much sun will burn the leaves.  'Guardian Angel’ is a vigorous grower, a good sized hosta, and has a plump, symmetrical habit! * Unique patterning * Slow grower * Mounded habit

Hostas grow best in moist, well-drained, highly organic soils with a pH between 5.5 and 7.5.  Sandy loam is better than clay because it provides more aeration for the roots.  It is best to keep areas around hostas clear of excess leaf debris to reduce the presence of slugs and snails.  Plant this low care plant in an area that receives the right amount of light.  The leaves need some morning sun to bring out the best coloration; too much sun will burn the leaves.  'Remember Me' is most at home in shady, woodland settings and often works well as specimen or edging plant.
