Peony - Felix Supreme
The Felix Supreme Peony, Paeonia 'Felix Supreme', is a midseason bloomer with very large flower heads that are double dark ruby red. Felix Supreme is excellent for cutting. All of our peonies are widely adaptable to most soils across the country. They bloom in mid to late spring and have very large, colorful blooms that stand out in the spring garden. Peonies can handle dry to moist sites, and do best in full sun but can handle some light shade. Often thought of as a plant used on the farm or out in the country, they bring a little bit of that country feeling to your garden. It is not uncommon to see peonies planted along the driveway or lane in a mass. Peonies are simple to grow and can be utilized in many ways, including mass plantings, specimens, or hedges. Southerners should seek out our early bloomers and provide afternoon shade.

As the flower ages, Echinacea 'Meringue' PPAF, opens as flat as a daisy, and as it matures the center cone grows upward and develops short, puffy petals that give it that gumdrop look. A delight for songbirds, this distinctive knee high variety was introduced by AB Cultivars and blooms from mid to late summer. This early bloomer opens with ruby red centers that fade out to brilliant fuchsia bars, with orchid colored petal edges.  As the 5 flowers age, they fade to lavender with pink bars. An excellent repeat bloomer throughout the summer months, this clematis has flowers that mature through a series of rich bicolor combinations ending with lavender and rich pink.
