Tiarella - Mystic Mist Foam Flower - Sale Price: $39.95 Tiarella Mystic Mist, Tiarella 'Mystic Mist' PPAF, will give your shade garden great visual interest. This colorful, variegated plant has a fast growing clumping habit. Tiarella 'Mystic Mist' PPAF has bright green leaves that have white speckles and red veins. In the spring, spires of fragrant, white foam flowers form above the foliage and in the fall the plant acquires attractive pink tones. Yarrow - Paprika - Sale Price: $64.25 The Yarrow ‘Paprika’, Achillea millefolium, is an upright gold centered, fading to light pink & creamy yellow, Yarrow that blooms from June through September. With fern-like aromatic silvery to gray-green foliage, it is considered to be one of the best yarrows in any landscape. The foliage has a somewhat strong, spicy aroma, which persists when used in dried arrangements. The flower heads are 3-4” wide, with a spread of 18-24” and a height of 24”. This Yarrow does well in average garden soils, but prefers lean, dry to medium wet, well-drained soil. (Avoid heavy clays and moist, rich, fertile soils.) Yarrow should be planted in full sun and is tolerant to hot humid summers. ‘Paprika’ is excellent for cutting, fresh or dried. Remove faded flowers regularly to promote continued blooming. New growth shoots are slow to emerge in spring, however, once new growth begins, it proceeds quite rapidly; provide regular fertilization during this growing season.
