This plant was developed in Canada ‘Minuet’ is a dense, rounded, deciduous weigela that is noted for its dwarf size, purple tinged foliage, and purplish red flowers with yellow throats. Minuet produces a profusion of slightly fragrant flowers, a minuet in color. The corolla is ruby red, the petal lobes are lilac-purple, and the throat is yellow.
