Beebalm - Jacob Cline - Sale Price: $64.25 The Beebalm Jacob Cline, 'Monarda didyma 'Jacob Cline', is a bushy, clump-forming perennial producing large red flowers above lance-shaped, dark green, citrus-scented leaves in summer. This plant attracts bees and hummingbirds and it is one of the most mildew-resistant bee balms. The Jacob Cline flowers are fragrant and they begin to bloom in mid to late summer. They are deer resistant. Place this bee balm in a sunny area with good air circulation. The plant clumps may need to be thinned after several years if they get too crowded. Attracting hummingbirds, butterflies and bees, particularly when massed, Monarda provides color and contrast for the perennial border, wild garden, meadow, herb garden or along ponds or streams.
