Grass - Maiden - Sale Price: $34.95 The Grass 'Maiden', Miscanthus sinensis 'Gracillimus', is a tall, graceful, clumping ornamental grass. The slender, weeping leaves are silvery-green and turn golden bronze in fall; a silver stripe runs up the middle of the sword-like green leaves. The flowers are white fan-shaped plumes in fall that extend above the foliage. The hardiness, the fine foliage and the spectacular fall colors have made 'Gracillimus' a favorite and very popular for years! Plant in spring or early summer when the soil is warm as the roots will grow only in warm soil. Planting too early in the spring may cause the roots to rot. Cut back the previous year’s growth before growth starts to appear in early spring.   'Gracillimus' has an arching shape and looks fabulous in the landscape as a specimen, screen or a nice mass of textured foliage; also looks great near a pond! For a carefree, year round interest grass, you cannot do better than Maiden grass!

Brunnera - Jack Frost - Sale Price: $39.95 The Brunnera ‘Jack Frost’, 'Brunnera macrophylla' PP13859, has frosty silver leaves that offer a brilliant backdrop to the small clusters of bright blue flowers that appear in earliest spring. It adds hard-to-find color and dramatic texture to the shade garden with its bright silver leaves that are veined in deep green.  The foliage is known to resemble cracked porcelain! ‘Jack Frost’ has a plant height of 12-18” and a plant spread of 18”.  It does require full shade in most areas.  In the north, morning sun is tolerated and in the south, dense shade is necessary. Chocolate Mist Flower - Sale Price: $49.95 The Eupatorium ‘Chocolate Mist Flower’, Eupatorium rugosum, also known as White Snakeroot, has a shiny, deep purple stem with chocolate leaves. ‘Chocolate Mist’ is a wonderful white bloomer that stands 4’ tall with a plant spread the 29-35”.  It is a definite attractor to butterflies and bees and is deer resistant. Eupatorium ‘Chocolate Mist’ should be planted in full sun, but can tolerate some afternoon shade.  Make sure it has a moist, well-drained area for optimal success; adequate moisture and a thick blanket of mulch are effective. For a rich colorful display, combine this flower with Rudbeckia ‘Black Eyed Susan’, Aster ‘Woods Purple’, ornamental grasses or in a perennial border. Hosta - Golden Meadows - Sale Price: $56.95 Hosta Golden Meadows, Hosta 'Golden Meadows', has outstanding foliage that requires light sun to light shade but needs to have some sun to bring out the excellent color. The large heavy leaves are slightly puckered and emerge with a cream center and a two-tone green and blue margin; leaves are often twisted, which adds extra character to this beauty! As the season progresses, the center will turn green. Spikes of small drooping funnel-shaped lily-like flowers appear in July to August. Golden Meadows Hosta is a sport of 'Elegans' and forms a somewhat unruly mound about 3 to 4 feet across. Easy to grow, Golden Meadows thrives in any moderately fertile soil, and prefers consistent moisture but is also drought tolerant once established.

Dianthus - Shooting Star - Sale Price: $39.95 Dianthus Shooting Star, Dianthus 'Shooting Star' PP#14,549, is another wonderful addition to the Star series of Dianthus!  Could this be the best one yet? We think so! 'Shooting Star' forms neat and compact evergreen mounds that remain attractive all season long.  The blue-green foliage is covered with hundreds of magenta purple flowers in early spring, and again in early fall after dead-heading.
