Daylily - Modern Design - Sale Price: $54.95 Hemerocallis Modern Design, Hemerocallis 'Modern Design', is an excellent and vigorous plant that produces 4 wide blooms.  The flowers are light apricot with a pronounced plum burgundy eye and a matching picotee edge. ‘Modern Design’ is a very good bloomer during the summer, and then reliably follows up with another surge of reblooms later in the season! One of the Designer Daylily™ Collection, it has lightly ruffled petals that are gently recurved. Heat and humidity tolerant, Modern Design is considered a premium daylily because it shows outstanding bloom performance, produces vibrant flowers, and has winter hardiness in northern zones. Individual flowers last only one day, but since each plant produces many buds, the total blooming time of a well-established clump may last more than a month.  Divide every 3-5 years, or when the number of flower buds and the size of bloom begin to decline. Coral Bells - Paris - Sale Price: $56.95 Coral Bells Paris, Heuchera 'Paris', is as silvery colored as any of our minty selections.  It has striking, white-veiled sea green foliage with ruffled edges.  These leaves give rise to continuous columns of large, deep rose-colored flowers.   ‘Paris’ is a 14 mounding plant that combines the striking white-frosted green leaves with stalks of cheery rose-red flowers and repeat blooms until frost! ‘Paris’  looks especially good around the edge of borders, near variegated plants, woodland edges, rock gardens, perennial borders, or in mass to form an attractive ground cover. Coral Bells is susceptible to rot, so good drainage is essential while roots establish themselves. It is a spreading, prostrate shrub with long, stiff branches, non-showy flowers, and seldom produces fruit. It is an excellent ground cover and rock garden accent. Ligularia - Brit Marie - Sale Price: $42.75 The Ligularia Brit Marie Crawford, Ligularia dentate ‘Brit Marie’, is a wonderful yellow-orange, daisy-like flower with huge glossy maroon foliage that remains dark for most of the season.  (This plant was first discovered by Britt-Marie Crawford in Fife, Scotland.) ‘Brit Marie’ is a clump-forming herbaceous perennial that is grown not only for its showy purple-black leaves, but also for its summer display of bold daisy-like orange-yellow flowers! The foliage can be rounding, kidney-shaped, or triangular with a wavy margin.  The flowers appear on tall spikes and bloom from July to August.   ‘Brit Marie’ has a plant height of 3-4’ and a spread of 36-48”. Phlox - Emerald Blue - Sale Price: $42.75 The Phlox ‘Emerald Blue’, Phlox subulata, is an ideal ground cover with dark blue flowers and a thick mat of semi-evergreen foliage. Emerald Blue may also be called creeping phlox or moss phlox. Blooming from April to May, it has a plant height of 4-6” and a spread of 18-24”. It is a definite addition to any perennial garden. ‘Emerald Blue’ needs to be planted in a full sun area in well-drained soil. Use ‘Emerald Blue’ in rock gardens, as a spread over curbs and short retaining walls, or in difficult edges of dry streambeds. Emerald Blue is deer resistant and it attracts butterflies.
